Everyone has access to our meeting place
We want to be a meeting place that is as welcoming as possible. We strive to make our venue easy to get to, visit, and enjoy. Due to our extensive and diverse business activities, this is a work in progress – but we are committed to constantly improve and through this create even better meetings.
On this page you can find some practical information that may be useful for your visit to the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre and Gothia Towers, our hotels, restaurants or one of our events.
A warm welcome!
Ahead of your visit
Travelling to us
Our central location on Korsvägen makes it easy to get to us, whether you’re travelling by train, bus, tram, car or other means.
Read more about how to get here.
Accessible car parking
You will find parking spaces reserved for the physically disabled, for short-term parking, outside the hotel entrance (2 hours) and along Skånegatan (4 hours). We also offer valet parking to our guests for long-term parking.
Accessible toilets
Accessible toilets can be found all around our venue: in the hotel lobby, at the restaurant Corner, in entrances eight and two, as well as in the congress corridor, the expo hall and “the marble corridor”. Ask us and we will be happy to show you!
Need for assistance, companions, and guide dogs
If you need an assistant, companion, sign-language or audio-visual interpreter to visit us, they will enter free of charge – just come and see us at the information desk at our main entrance (entrance 5). Of course, we welcome guide dogs on our premises. However, for hotel visits you need to book one of our dog rooms.
For those with allergies
Please note that we are an animal-friendly establishment, and that dogs, for example, may be present on the premises. We offer smoke- and dog-free rooms. For food allergies, see Restaurants and cafés below.
Hotels
Three towers, two first-class hotels, one common vision: to be, if only for a little while, a home to people from all over the world who want a hotel experience beyond the ordinary.
Accessible rooms
Our accessible rooms have larger floor space for better mobility and bathrooms adapted for a wheelchair or with disability toilet seating. Access to adjoining rooms is possible. (Please note that the bathroom is not adapted for mobility scooters, a chair change is required).
Accessible suite
We have a fully accessible suite, with a height adjustable bed, automatic door opening, remote control curtains, level-adapted wardrobes and a sofa bed in the adjoining room. The size of the bathroom allows for the addition of a mobile lift – book when you reserve the room. Fixed chair available in the shower, and mobile shower chair as a complement.
Rooms for (guide) dogs
We are a dog-friendly hotel, but with allergy sufferers in mind, we have specific dog rooms to book – also for those guests in need of guide dogs.
Smoke- and dog-free rooms
For those who are allergic, there are dog-free rooms, and all our rooms are of course smoke-free. Please note that we are an animal-friendly meeting place, and that animals can be present around the premises.
To find out more or to book a room, call Hotel Booking on +46 31 750 88 10.
Assistive devices
If you need a fire alarm for the hearing impaired and/or a mobile lift in your room, book it at the same time as you reserve your room. Call us and we are happy to help you! Wheelchairs are available to borrow via Guest Service.

Restaurants and cafés
At our meeting place there are several welcoming restaurants and cafés with different flavour profiles and flair – including Sweden’s most famous shrimp sandwich as well as Gothenburg’s best view.
Allergies and food preferences
We always want to create the best experience for you by meeting your needs. If you come in for a spontaneous visit, talk directly to our friendly waiting staff and they will help you further.

Trade fairs and meetings
Assistive technology at the meeting place
We have halls and conference rooms with hearing loops in different sizes: Our largest auditorium, the K Hall, which seats 1,500 people, has a hearing loop system that covers 40% of the audience seats. Complete hearing loop systems with fixed loops are available in the medium-sized rooms J1 and J2 (the loop does not cover the stage position) and in rooms R2, R17 and R18 (also covers the stage position). Rooms H1 and H2 have systems covering the whole premises, without a boundary loop. Stage position is not included. All halls are adjacent to our large exhibition halls. We can also offer mobile solutions if needed. If you as an exhibitor or organiser need such a solution, please contact After Sales.
As a trade fair visitor, you can book a wheelchair with us if necessary to facilitate your visit. Contact us via the switchboard +46 31 708 80 00 and state that you are a trade fair visitor. If possible, pre-book before your visit.
