Sweden has been appointed as the partner country for next year’s Hanonver Fair. This means that Sweden will invest extra in next year’s fair. For instance, in addition to the general pavilion for Swedish industry, there will also be a pavilion dedicated to automation.

Business Sweden has a large pavilion covering 1,200 m² where we will showcase Sweden and Swedish industry. Business Sweden has been commissioned by the Swedish government to lead the project for Sweden’s participation as a partner country.

In addition to the national pavilion, an automation pavilion is being planned in a collaboration between the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre and Automation Region. Here, Swedish automation companies will have the opportunity to find new markets and partnerships and promote Sweden’s strong automation industry. Planning has already started, and a key part of the process is attracting exhibitors. A whole day will be dedicated to automation at the national pavilion, which will then be followed up in the automation pavilion. We are developing the exhibition venues at Scanautomatic & Process Technology in collaboration with Automation Region, for instance through various seminars. It seems natural to continue this partnership by planning the automation pavilion together. We hope many companies will want to exhibit at the pavilion and help make it a success.
