How to Hack a Factory - A Real-Life Story

In this talk we will show how attacks against industrial and operational technology systems are conducted, and what the effects can be.

Taking inspiration from real investigations, we will illustrate how attackers can gain access to a company’s internal network by exploiting vulnerable and un-patched hardware.
From there, we will show how it is possible to compromise services used to interface with Industrial Control Systems, potentially disrupting and damaging infrastructure of critical importance.
